GARY HOPKINS has an MBA from Warwick Business School in England, a Sports Science degree from Loughborough University and has spent 25 years as a senior executive in the USA Soccer and global Sports Marketing Industry; all in coordination with FIFA.
As President and CEO of API Soccer he oversaw the commercial and television “rights” for the United States Soccer Federation as well as staging over 70 USA National Soccer Team games.
API Soccer was also a founding investor in Major League Soccer and Managing Partner of DC United.
As a Managing Director of Octagon’s Sport Marketing he also represented a multitude of additional sports. He has negotiated sponsorship and Television contracts with major Brands and networks, including NBC, ABC, ESPN, NIKE, ADIDAS, General Motors, Mastercard, Visa and many more.
Gary has also worked with some of the World’s leading Sports Organizations including: The Premier League, the International Cricket Council (ICC), ATP Tour, United States Soccer Federation, Major League Soccer, and United States Track and Field Association.
He recently completed a 5-year program consulting with Manchester City on their International development in the United States working in partnership with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Washington DC.
